AnswerIQ is looking to hire a core team of Software Engineers to build Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications in the enterprise customer support space. We work on sophisticated algorithms to derive signals from past customer support tickets and use it to intelligently classify new issues, automate responses, assist agents etc. We integrate with existing customer experience systems like Salesforce, Zendesk etc.
The Backend Engineer will focus on designing and building robust frameworks for Machine Learning application development, implementing state of the art machine learning algorithms and applications in production, building tools for automating experimentation, benchmarking and prototyping, integrate with external CRM systems, writing test cases and automated test suites etc.
Requirements
2-8 years of professional software development experience
Strong in problem solving, object oriented design, data structures, algorithms and other computer science fundamentals
Strong coding skills. Professional experience in developing production-quality software in Python/Java/Scala/PHP.
Solid understanding of web technologies; HTTP, REST, OAuth, and asynchronous programming
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, NoSQL, Distributed systems, Big data workflows
Experience with building low-latency, high availability, internet-scale RESTful web services
Experience with AWS or similar cloud computing environments
Prior experience in building NLP and machine learning based systems
Prior knowledge or experience in Information retrieval is a plus
Passion for open source and knowledge of the current and evolving ecosystem
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, documentation) and release processes
Familiarity with agile development, scrums, continuous integration, and test driven development processes
Disciplined approach to testing and software quality
Mentor junior developers and interns, and help build an excellent engineering team
BE/BTech in Computer Science from a top engineering school
